Rachel Malloy, DNP, RN, CNRN, SCRN, is an experienced neuroscience nurse, global speaker, and founder of Nurses in the Media. With over 25 years in nursing and leadership, Dr. Malloy has dedicated her career to elevating the nursing voice in healthcare conversations.
She developed the Media Competency Training Program to empower nurses with the skills to confidently engage with media, advocate for public health, and showcase the expertise of the nursing profession. Her work, published in Nurse Educator and presented nationally and internationally, emphasizes that when nurses are visible in the media, communities benefit from informed, evidence-based perspectives.
Currently serving as Director of Clinical Applications at Natus Neuro and Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, Dr. Malloy continues to advance both clinical practice and professional advocacy.
